The kidneys are bean-shaped and of a reddish color organ. These are located in the middle of the back, on both sides of the spinal column.  Blood supplied to the kidneys is through a renal artery. Kidneys produce approximately 1.5 to 2 liters of urine 24 hours. Is kidney disease curable or not?

Chronic kidney diseases are further divided into 5 stages that depend on the glomerular filtration rate (filters of kidneys) these stages are briefly described below:

Stage 1 – GFR rate is normal.  GFR > = 90 milliliters

Stage 2 – GFR < 90 milliliters, mild CKD

Stage 3 – GFR < 60 milliliters, moderate CKD

Stage 4 – GRF < 30 milliliters, detection of severe CKD

Stage 5 – GFR < 15 milliliters end-stage kidney disease / renal failure. Is kidney disease curable or not?
